Thx King.

The cmd tq vs gear must be off just a touch on mine then. It didn’t do it everytime but the 1 time it closed the reduced power mode kicked in and my tb motor was toast, katech replaced it thou for me. It could’ve been coincidence idk.

Laynlo the table I posted above mine is where you are saying 800 or 1,000 ft lbs?

Still getting the bugs worked out. I’m hoping for .20’s or 30’s this year. I’ve been kicking the idea around of having Elite tuning give it a go idk thou.

On another not there are 5 new tables in the T93 vs T87A

Hopefully you can get some nice gains with the TCM. I’m looking fwd to seeing the results. Your car definitely works!!!
Just for clarity:
Did you have the T87A conversion, and are you saying, that after the October HPTuners T87 update (with more definitions), that there are even MORE tables for the T93 that were NOT in the T87 update? If so - could you take screenshots of them and post? I'm curious if it's worth it.

Yes I believe there are 5 tables that I didn’t have with the T87A.

Here they are shaded in gray:

I have to check when I get to my laptop, but I'm almost POSITIVE the definitions you pointed out were already included in the October update... That - and a whole new TAB - SHIFT TIMING.

I'll check back

Ok so I pulled up a compare file between the two and the gray tabs were there with the T93 and not with the T87A. I do have the most recent beta version with the MPV3. For the record thou my TCM tune was from Nov. I may or may not have had the update yet. Now I’m curious. Yes I also have the shift timing tables

Just got back from another test drive thou, man I love this thing Hahaa. Can’t wait to get the DR back on and some warmer weather.

Depending on the weather tomorrow I'll have some logs to share or it could be Wednesday because it only going to be 42 tomorrow but 70 on Wednesday. Go figure, typical mid west weather.

Yeah - I have all those examples, and more (which I bet you have, too). I'm still tempted to send my T93 in, but I'm in no hurry if I don't get more out of it than with the T87A.

I gotta buy a blower lid, lol.

Ok so my t87 file must’ve been on the older version then. Good to know. Thanks for verifying it Radz28

It sucks that its going to rain most of the day, but I can get the TCM back in its place, hook the battery up and read the TCM, license and then I can look at the stock files.

That’s a bummer. Well at least you can get swapped over and get a tune ready to go for when the sun comes back out.

Looks like dry time tomorrow afternoon before it rains again tomorrow night. I need to change the oil so I'll get the engine warmed up today and change that today also. Going to 15w50 Mobil One for the drag racing season, need to pick up some fresh E also for this weekend. Hopefully they are back to their summer blend which is usually about E67 which is just right for my low side to keep up till we get some new pumps in the tank sometime in the next few months.

No problem. I just don't like HPTuners stating you get more access with their T93 than their competition's T87A, but whatever. I'll probably still send mine in, just for a back-up.

I'm not TCM guy either, but with have played with mine, a little outside of the normal TORQUE-limiter-type-stuff. I would recommend Elite Tuning School's course for these tranny's though. That helped me some. I also took a training on the older 6-Speed TCM, and have that controller in my Sonic, and learned a little bit from that, too. I'm not sure how helpful any of that training was (or effective I am, lol), but I was able to get more favorable (to me) behavior from my Sonic with a few changes.

That TORQUE limitation is the biggest gain though. Keeping the THROTTLE open and getting COMMANDED SPARK is critical to get the most out of the tune. King's posted a lot of that stuff already.
