lowering springs
So I was looking at coilover set up but decided that is overkill for a DD and occasional autocross. So now looking at just lowering springs.
anyone using these? I would actually like to see improvement in handling and not just for aesthetics. open to other options also. https://maggperformance.com/product/...swift-springs/ |

For an LT1 like yours, I would agree that the YYZ springs are probably the most performance-oriented spring-swap option.

Definitely a practical choice for your needs. Swift Springs could be a good bet, but ensure they're compatible and offer suitable spring rates. Research other trusted brands for handling-focused lowering springs too. Happy modding and autocrossing!

Using the Chevrolet Performance spring/strut/shock/bar/link kit on an LT1. Very happy with them. Fine for DD if you mind your curbs and entries. Excellent at the track.
There are a few part numbers for different configs-dont want to link to the wrong one. This is the only kit I have 6th gen experience with.

I also have the factory lowering spring/strut/shock/bar/link kit on an LT1. It is probably 20-30% rougher ride than Stock SS. But definite improvement in handling.
