No, thanks! I would never pay over MSRP for any car! If fact, I haven't paid MSRP for any car lease/purchase in my life. Also, I wouldn't want a new C8 right now anyway. Way too many issues need to be worked-out. As the saying goes, never buy the first production year.

I usually wait until the 3rd year. I did buy my 2020 RAM 2nd year though.

Pretty safe bet with a Ram. I don't think much has changed other than cosmetically. The C8 is a whole new car. I had a Dakota and a Ram years ago. Very nice trucks!

They're idiots if they think anyone other than an idiot will pay markup for any car. No vehicle outside of the early 2000s Ford GT was worth a penny over MSRP. Not the Demon, not the GT350R, not the Hellcat, not the current GT500, not one single vehicle. And anyone who does pay a markup deserves to be laughed at.

Either that or some of the people who pay markups do it to show off. Like they have to prove that they have money and can "afford" an extra $10K for absolutely nothing. LOL!! I can picture these people in my head now. Like, instead of actually buying a different car that is $10K more expensive and likewise has $10K extra in features...or instead of getting it at MSRP and then buying $10K in aftermarket parts or going on a 2 week vacation to the Maldives, they rather hand the dealership $10K and get absolutely nothing out of it except to say they had $10K to burn. LOL!!

Well then this will get you fired up... the mark up is not $10K, it is $25K

Bwahahaha.

Honestly if I had cash and wanted a Vette instead of the C6 Camaro I bought I'd go with a C7 Stingray. Good looking car, very fast and would be a lot cheaper and I think it looks better.

is it me or does the interior quality look tacky on the C8? Not saying it's cheap but for what is supposed to be a high end car it just doesn't look high end when spending that kind of cash. Something I'd expect more like on a $50k car. I'm talking the leather and stitching. I've seen youtube videos of some C8s and the stitching on the leather is total trash, bad QC.

I know performance the car is outstanding, BUT there is just something that looks cheap about the car.

Not to mention, I can pick up C7s with a manual transmission.

That's true, but the c8 you'd think they would do a bit better job. I just can't put my finger on it but the car just doesn't scream premium. The c7 seems to just feel more premium.

the main thing I don't like about the C8 is that They designed it to look more like a Ferrari SF90 than a traditional Corvette.

If I was rich, yea I'd buy one though. Still a super fast car for the price though.

that's why I like the C7 more.
