I am having this same kit put in in a few weeks.
my goals are around 570ish whp (8psi) with dyno tune they are putting in a booster pump, and the 60# injectors. they have the tuner from turbonectics working for them and said that it would be no problem hitting those numbers, and staying safe.

i caution people trying to push the turbonetics kit to over 600rwhp, the turbine wheel is too small IMO, combine that with the single 3" downpipe with recirculated wastegate, the Backpressure goes through the roof with any real boost (another recipe for broken/melted pistons)... best suggestion is to upgrade to a precision 7675 (75mm turbine wheel vs. 68mm turbine) and either Dump the gate or increase the downpipe size to 3.5".. remember these are decent sized 376 ci motors, not little 302's or soemthing similar, backpressure is a real issue.... this is all my experience, take it for what its worth..

Now that you said something I did go and read about it and they do that to help combat the lag by maintaining a bit of the back pressure. I am not going to be pushing anything past 600rwhp. and if I do I already planed on forging everything and would just replace the turbo then. but like I said that may be ten years down the road from now if at all. but I do agree with you if you want to go above 600rwhp then you should get a upgraded turbo. its about knowing where you want to be and setting goals like others have said.

I have about maxed out the zl1 pump, should I go lpe or adm twins? What are they approximately goo for whp? Also quick question, if I throw in some new rods and pistons during my cam install will I have to get the cylinders honed? I would stay with stock bore and stroke
