Yes it was. I finally figured it out. The manual is great. Ha. What I am trying to do is put in a switch that i can flip inside the car that will enable my windows from working or disable them. Like I am pulling the fuse or not pulling the fuse. How would I do this?

How are you going to deal with the window indexing? Or do you just have to remember to enable the windows before you exit the car?

Yea. I would never hit the switch unless I am being pulled over. I am having tint problems and want to roll them down and hit the switch so the cop cant test them.

Basically you would need to run a piece of wire and a switch in between one of the fuses contacts.

I just gotta say it, this is the weakest reason for a mod i have ever heard. Either tint the windows below what the law allows and take your lumps when they come, or tint them to the legal limit and be done with it. You really think a cop who is going to make your roll your windows up to test is going to then just give up when you say "they dont work" ....

Cops just love it when you screw with them. Let us know how this goes over.

And if you do meet the one dimwitted Enos P. Coletrain that falls for this, what are you going to say the next time he sees your car with the windows up?

What you really need is a speedo switch. No speeding tickets ever!

ok. Thanks dad. You think the cop is going to open my hood and say why don't you pull j fuse 26. Obviously if I even did this I know it is a risky idea.

This is just dumb. So the cop see's you with tint, then notices you just rolled the windows down and is going to believe you when you tell him both your windows don't work on your brand new car.

I would just give you a handful of other tickets to make up for it.

i once got pulled over for speeding and told the officer that my speedo was broken (it really was). he still gave me the speeding ticket and cited me for equipment failure or some other such non-sense. your idea is creative but i think it'll just get you in more trouble than your trying to avoid.
