SCT tune by Ted- WOW

Ok, about 2 years ago I added a maggie SC along with headers and several other items. At that time I knew I needed a tune. I was really unsure if I wanted a guy named Ted to email a tune or get a local guy to dyno it.

After reading several post on C5 I decided to get a tune from a local guy because a lot of folk stated that a dyne tune was better. Car ran good for a while and then on and off for the past year, I started throwing cells because the engine was running hot and my 02 sensors were going crazy. I finally went to the dealership who said my ECU had to be replaced because something was wrong with the tune.

I then contacted the local guy who did my initial tune and was told to bring it back but it would take a few weeks before he could look at it. Really, a few weeks when your tune may have caused the problems to begin with. At that point I called Ted who right away answered the phone, spoke with me about several possible issues and provided free information. At that time Ted advised that my build was missing some very important items. Again at this point I had not paid Ted anything. I finally sent Ted my tune who reviewed it and was able to tell me what the problems were. During that time I know I called and emailed Ted more than 10 times, and guess what he retuned my communication every single time. At that point I was sold based on what I read on the site and his customer service.

I finally decided to buy my tune from Ted. I sent him the payment but did not get my tune and my credit card had not been charged. After about an hour, I got an email back from Ted advising me that I overpaid for my tune. Ted asked me to re-pay the correct amount of money. Again I was like WOW, he could have easily taken the over payment and gave me the tune but he was really honest and did not cheat me. I finally got the tune and man my car runs great.

I really wanted to thank Ted for the great customer service along with the great tune. I am hoping all the issues I had are done now but I feel very comfortable in knowing that if I have an issue, I will not have to wait a few weeks before they are addressed. Thanks TED!!!!

It's amazing how good he really is. He looks at your data logs, emails you a tune and that's it. He nails the tune the first time; even if you already had a tune that has problems. He really knows his stuff!

Thank you very much, I really appreciate the feedback, and I am happy to have been able to work with you.

He got my car dialed in also, he went the extra yards explaining out all my questions. We went through many different versions until we got it where Ted wanted it. Still running good at 11 psi,

There never was a question who would tie my Magnuson supercharger, Kooks headers, and CAI intake together AND keep every other part on my '13 1LE safe. I was in the exact same boat as you Blacknight11.....I sent Ted a lot of PM's and asked A LOT of questions. At one point I was even considering not installing my supercharger (Ted talked me out of it ). Sure, when you move forward with a tune Ted gets paid, but what if you decide not to? It doesn't seem to matter, he'll answer every and all your questions. He is definitely a HUGE asset to all of us here on C5.

To anyone searching for feedback on Ted/Jannetty Racing.....don't think twice.....just do it

I finally made time to put my vacuum line onto the supercharger nipple on Sunday. My wife and I went for a drive around town and coming around a corner in 3rd I gave it some gas and felt the tires spin......too much HP.
