No doubt, some of them little turds are fast as hell...

I was just raggín on you... It's all good... and they can drive an EVO... We'll maintain our dignity...

Another question I have is the need of a catch can. I have heard mixed reviews but I am looking a getting the rx monster with the 3 valves and an open breather on the oil fill. This sound good, most everyone says catch cans are good but I hear that the open breather lets unmetered air in causing fuel mixtures to go lean etc. Or is this a good setup as I want the can on soon then later. Thanks everyone for the help.

I've seen a lot of guys running them and they seem to work wonders. I ordered the monster CC and it came in today.

A properly installed well designed CC will help your motor over its lifetime... for a number of reasons...

There plenty of people that can explain it better than I can...

But, With forced induction, I have two catch cans, very simple in design, and after 13,000 miles on the new motor, my intake manifold is as dry as a bone... No puddling, no residue etc...

There's a one way check valve in the breather that lets air out, but not in. This is on the Rx can anyway. I ordered and Monster dual valve a month ago and haven't seen it yet.

Like I told the owner of the evo, you push those 40psi you got through a v8 and it'll go back in time.

Shoot, our cars with 40 PSI would go ludicrous speed...

While not a Camaro ... and not 40 psi (although we are going to try for 40psi this was at 34 psi)

I would call this ludicrous speed (car will have 213-215 mph in it)

Turbos work great with LSx engines

Wasn't sure if anyone would catch that reference...

I'll have to wait to get home to watch the video... and I agree... Turbo's work great on LSx engines and they work well on my LS3 as well...

ERL built it... ERL Superdeck... If I ever crater this one, I'll go back in with a 6 bolt head Superdeck, and really crank the boost... Have Lozano Brothers build me a set of heads...

Since back pressure is an issue with the small turbine I know I am limited. I want about 650 whp if possible. I will add a cam from jre, some twin pumps and would boost 10 psi max. I seen ted boost a car with my same setup to just over 10 psi so it should be "safe" When I have the engine all apart would it make sense to install rods/pistons even if 650whp is all the farther I plan to go? I can't find prices on forged rods and pistons anywhere that are stock spec.

Yes. Get the block honed. Check deck etc... Then rods and pistons... Cp, diamond, je, weisco all make 4.065 pistons. I wouldn't just slap piston and rods in there you need to take it to a machine shop.
