For the tuner kit for the G3X it’s 6666$ with shipping plus injectors. Roughly the same cost as the ECS kit. For the cost difference, you get a blower that can reach 1000+

If that kit had been out when I bought mine, I would bought it over the Vortech YSi kit no doubt. That being said I love my YSI-B.

I would talk to the tuner you plan to use. They will probably tell you it's in your best interest to buy a certain brand injector (Injector Dynamic, or FIC). I opted to get the tuner kit, because I wanted a larger injector for E85 and I already had a ZL1 pump and hptuners.

My friend bought a procharger for his car and sold the hand held tuner and injectors and had to buy new injectors and go pay for a tune. Something to think about.

Definitely agree on the injectors. I bought 1050x and wish I had ponied up in the beginning for 1300's - cuz now that I am back I am thinking about E85 because it is now available in my area.

Absolutely. Sticking with tuner kit, and get parts that’ll be expandable in the future.

The impeller in the ECS 1500, is that a cast or billet set? Looking at the G3 and G2 options now to see how they stack up.

I wish I had seen this before I ordered my whipple, but now it’s too late. I would go g3x if I were to do it over again. Then again I may sell the whipple tuner kit and order ESS. Anyone want a whipple kit for a good deal?

I installed the v3 ess kit about a year and a half ago, managed 620whp with headers, no cats, and running 91 octane. Great kit that makes awesome power.

I believe it is billet. You can look that information up on Paxton's website I think.

The ESS supercharger system are some of the best we have worked with in the Centri style.

Here is a stock long block L99 car we did Our Super Street Brawler featuring the ESS supercharger kit with YSI option.

Not bad, but that ysi is capable of so much more. Hey Ted, what are those two large hoses running over the fender into the engine bay? Looks like its connected to the schrader valve on the fuel rail...

A couple more tune revisions from Ted and I’ll be hitting the dyno with the G3X again. Should be just under 900. Weeeeehooo
