question in regards to engine mod??

I am in the market for a procharger. I know exactly what system that I want. My question is, will i need to remove the stock headers and replace them with an aftermarket header like Stainless works? I already have their Cat Back system from them.
Thanks in advance.
Mark

I don't think it's mandatory but, to take full advantage, an aftermarket set of headers would help. It's all about air flow. You're going to be forcing more air into the engine, it has to have an outlet after the engine processes it. You get better air flow with aftermarket headers which means more performance.

The stock exhaust manifolds are actually pretty damn good for OE. They are 4-2-1 and much beter than people realize. If putting a prochager on and you have $ than do it.

what he said. these manifolds flow better than people realize. if you have the extra coin then its a no brainer but if you budgeting its not a must do mod until you start pushing some higher numbers than what the stock LT1 fuel system can handle.

I'm installing a ProCharger Stage II next week and got Kooks LT 1 7/8" to keep it company.
