What re known issues

Looking at getting into a 2023 camaro. Either SS 1LE or ZL1. Been on the corvette side of things for several years and currently considering trading my C8 or adding to it a manual. While I was looking into camaros I found a bit about oil pump failures that seems concerning. So just trying to see what issues I should be aware of if I dive into a camaro as I will plan to keep it a long time with fewer manuals being made. I figure by now the kinks have been worked out. Are the sagging headliners still am issue?

Bet it was the "moar powa' babeh" bug (no mods, just factory options in sig)

EDIT: hold on, he could've downgraded from a 2018 ZL1 to a 2020 2SS, not sure which one was first (the plot thickens!)

No serious issues with recent model years as far as I can tell.

The oil pump seems to be fixed or at least updated to a part that fails much less frequently, there is a poll here with numbers. LT1/LT4 engines are fine, transmissions are fine with only small gripes, suspensions look reliable and well built. Judging from the amount of complaints here, the occasional early software glitches with the 2019+ infotainment have been addressed by now. Paint (clearcoat) fragility sucks, but that's known and will never be fixed.

Had mine for 6 years.. it’s been really reliable. I had a wiring harness issue out the gate. But I’ve been issue free for 6 years until I noticed my headliner. It’s really only noticeable at certain angles if you look for it. It’s more an OCD issue than a anything else.
