1LE spoiler for 2016 SS

Hey everyone, does anyone know what the part number would be for a !LE spoiler from the 2017 that would be a direct bolt on my 2016 SS 2SS?

The 1LE spoiler doesn't bolt up to the SS trunk lid, they use different hole pattern. There are guys with 1LEs looking to swap trunk lids to get a SS lid, but that has other issues like having the lid painted.

Are you saying the 17 1LE spoiler will cover the holes on my SS?

You don't need to swap trunks. Purchase the IKON Motorsports 3 piece blade spoiler, it *does* cover all the hole that the SS spoiler makes on our trunks, trust me I did it. Check my instagram for pictures: @MANAT.0

Here's the link:

I would also suggest purchasing two rolls of 3M VHB double sided tape to keep it on the car, as the glue they provide to you to stick the spoiler on isn't that great.

I purchased a paint-matched 3 piece spoiler, and the paint is not too bad!

This was my original plan until i started seeing guys having issues with the blade seperating from the trunk lid. This IKON spoiler attaches with tape only correct? Its more than one person reporting seperation issues with this spoiler

A few self-tapping screws take care of that.

FYI - My 16 SSes factory blade spoiler had no issues after 27 months and 20k miles. I drove it daily in Wisconsin so it was subjected to -0 to 100 degrees. It’s end caps were attached only with tape.

I always bucket wash my cars and dry them with a master blaster that gets all the water out of the crevices.

^^This^^
I installed my Ikon spoiler then ran 1 self tapping screw thru each end to make sure it doesn't come off. I used one of the factory holes on each end with a large washer.

As stated above the self-tapping screws do the job perfectly! You can find them at any hardware store. I used a combination of the VHB tape and then also used the self-tapping screws as soon as it came up again.

Definitely worth it.
