There's a ton of development work involved in bringing a new kit to market. They have to undergo a lot of testing, and certification to offer these kits. It takes AirLift a great deal of time and effort to release these kits, but it's worth it!
Personally, I feel much safer knowing they didn't rush the kit to market. We will be running AirLift on our 6th Gen SEMA Build. I'll be sure to keep you guys in the loop with my feedback on the handling, comfort, install, etc etc. Thanks! Nick C.

The convenience of being able to raise it over bumps is worth it alone IMO lol. I've driven thousands of miles for road trips in our S550. It's a comfortable setup Nick C.

If it's a major concern, you can adjust the collars on your coilovers so they are a normal ride height when you're aired out. Airlift goes through great lengths to prevent that from happening, and they have to have their products certified for this very reason. Nick C.

My issue with this is simply how well GM developed the 6th Gen Camaro. I have a problem with taking an awarded car and stripping something as critically important as the suspension and completely changing it. Do you all expect it to perform and handle the same after it's on air? (Serious, honest question. Looking for your thoughts.) I understand it will ride better but will it corner and handle the same?
Note- I'm not hating on air suspension. I've always been a fan. Just on the right vehicles. |

I'm not sure it will be compatible with Magnetic-ride equipped cars, or maybe that just adds complications. I'll do my best to keep you guys posted Nick C.

You're welcome! I'm a big fan of the kit on our S550 if you can't tell lol.
The stock ride height on the Camaro is so high, I can't wait to do something about that. Nick C.

Looks pretty silly, not to mention it will be terrible for traction with that ridiculous negative camber. I suppose as long as it isn't a V8 car then traction isn't really an issue though. Still, it will ride like shit and look like ass.

If it proves that it can still handle as well as the stock non-magnetic ride, if not better, on the track, I would love to have it on. if it looks silly in your opinion, then that's just your old soul griping. I think a slammed car looks sexy. you are probably thinking of static cars that are cambered too much and always low. with airbags, you don't actually drive that low, its mostly just slammed when parked, and at a normal ride height when driving. as for it riding like shit, how do you mean? I've been in many bagged cars that ride smooth and handle just as well as their stock suspensions once did, and in some cases, even better. have you been in a car equipped with a modern airlift kit? try one and you will see for yourself. the technology has improved a lot. the biggest plus for me tho is being able to lift the car higher to avoid stupidly tall speed bumps and steep driveway without scraping
