New tires!

I need new tires! This is the rear tires. It's been sprinkling the rain off and on all day here, and it was doing that when I took the wheels off. The fronts are a little less than half tread. Half the time I got in the car, the traction control and stabilitrak was turned off, and I kept getting these leg cramps!! I couldn't help it! I'm old enough to know better, but still too young to care, heheehehe!

I think there may be too much air in them because they look like they are crowned a hair in the middle.

I'm getting a set of Continental sport contacts. They aren't cheap and not that easy to find either, being the 21 inch wheels.

And a little less air pressure. Over inflation will cause that kind of wear.

Holy crap those are some bald tires! That had to have been scary driving in the rain.

21 inch wheels? Thought the largest rims were 20 inches.

Hah. I knew a guy here that had 22's on his Camaro. Didn't look good at all!! But he like them and that's all that matters.

I'm sure driving in the rain would have been treacherous! If it's raining, I leave the car at home. I don't mind being out and about and getting caught in the rain though.

For me the best part about new tires is the day before when I don’t have to be careful and consider wear life.

I just put new rubber on my car yesterday. Tuesday the remaining service life of the old rear tires was seriously depleted.

one thing about new tires, they are cheaper than new sheetmetal should you get sideways in the rain.

Fascinating. Those are Apache tires, you can't track them.
