Recently did the same thing. I have a feeling if you dont locktite them, they will fall off. Havent installed mine yet. After thinking about it, I think I will just install them as needed.

I used Loctite on mine as insurance. Just be sure to BLUE, and not RED. Just in case you ever need to remove them.

I have a set on my car that I put on soon after I bought it in 2018.
Did not use loctite, just as tight as I could do by hand. They have not budged since.

A hockey puck works great and costs about $1, and can't fall off.

I installed mine without loctite, remember my dad too one look at that and said "I bet you'll have 3 by the end of the year and only 2 left after about 2" but about a year in and they're still holding

Lift Pad Install

We have had our ZL1 ADDONS LIFT PADS installed without loctite for a few years now with no issues.
However if you do use Loctite, as others have said be sure to use blue!

I used loctite on mine as added insurance. Never hurts to have that. Better than having it fly out from under your car and flying thru another cars windshield on the road.

If you look at the length of the Allen screws, and you run the screw all the way in you do not have many threads of the screw in the screw hole. I put in longer Allen screws, 1/4” X 28 thread, so the screw has more bearing load in the threaded hole. Had to use a 1/4” ratchet with the Allen attachment as an Allen wrench alone was pitiful.
