I got a stainless steel tank from Phastek on my 1st 6th Gen and took it off when I traded the car in and now using it on my current car.

They didn't have the RotoFab cover at the time which is a much cheaper route to go but I do like this tank. There are a couple different tanks out there. Mine is made by Granatelli.

Found this on eBay. It’s only about $30 plus shipping. Might give it a try.

Veeery close, yes Mine has a ZL1 spoiler, black fuel door, no side skirts and gray split spoke wheels, but otherwise the same. This is the best paint color IMO, hyper blue being a close second.

Installed a Pedal Commander. Wow this thing really gets rid of the throttle lag and flat spots in the accelerator!

Is it worth the $300?

A little pricey but had better reviews for quality than the Vitesse does. I think it’s worth it so far. It has a wider range of adjustability and performs well. I tried a ported throttle body to try to eliminate the hesitation and lag of the stock throttle tuning but it just didn’t seem to help much. The Pedal Commander solved the hesitation and also a problem with flat response in the 2-3k rpm range that I had. Now it’s instant response and smooth linear acceleration. I got it for $285 with discount code DONRON5 and free shipping, which was the exact amount of the refund I got for returning the TB! Problem solved!
