2016 SS convertible - bought new 4 years ago this month. Literally zero issues with the car. M6
I did replace diff and trans fluids by 5K miles Currently at 14K miles. Not on the original tires - I switched to a square 19" set-up with 295 Pilot SS I have a 2018 Colorado with the same A8 trans, I haven't noticed much shudder - every once in awhile when it's cold I will get a strange jerk but I wouldn't really describe it as a shudder. Waiting for something more definitive before I take that one in to the dealer for a fluid flush. |

2017 SS - Purchased roughly three years ago
Only issue to report is the A8 shudder which comes and goes now but most of the time I don't feel it. This was resolved with the older fix. If I can make it another 10k I'll ask the dealer to perform a flush again for kicks assuming it doesn't get any worse. Otherwise no other issues. I don't drive it too much so I don't expect much to pop up. |

'17 2SS M6. Bought new in March / 17, up to 42k on it now. Only significant issue was a pinion seal leak, replaced under warranty. Every other issue has been self-inflicted.

'16 V6 63,000km (39,000m). Had a minor issue with the trunk contacting the back of car when the trunk was closed, had an actuator in the climate control system break leaving heat on constantly on the passenger side (this may have been there from the time I bought it, but it was too cold to notice), infotainment screen died and the dealership fixed it with a software update (seems to be holding).
Nothing serious, just some annoying stuff. The climate control issue took them more than a week to fix, but they gave me a pretty nice rental car (Cadillac CTS). |

17 SS 6 speed. 39k miles. Love this car. No issues. I do notice the performance has slightly increased. I assume because of full engine break in.

Special Ordered a 2018 2SS convertible in Mosaic Black Metallic and Kalahari, took delivery in April of 2018. A8, NPP, Magnetic suspension, Brembo Perfomance Brakes with matching rear calipers, OEM ground effects, etc. Pretty much every option.
Put in a Range device right at 500 miles on the car. Followed the 1500 mile break-in. MRR FS01’s with 305/285 Michelin PS4S’s at about 2k miles. Added a Pray ported OEM IM/TB, Roto-Fab, and CC and about 16k miles. Borla S-type axle back and NPP valve controller at around 18k miles. As of today, car now is just a tick under 20,000 miles. Oil change/service at the dealer as recommended by the on-board oil-life display. The only problems I’ve had are: 1. The rear differential howl started around 12k miles when the car was cold. Would go away after warm up. My dealership handled It with out any problems and it has not returned. 2. The interior plastic trim on the top of the convertible top’s rear window kept coming loose where the two ends meet. (Window itself has not delaminated/no other problems.). I fixed this with some carefully applied black super glue. Has held just fine for the last 5k miles or so. Can’t tell there was ever an issue. 3. The screen on the Bose infotainment system has gone half-black or all black 3-4 times. System still “worked;” had sound and reacted to touch inputs. Came back on after letting the car sit turned off for 5 or so minutes. Has not happened in a few months. 4. The little flap for the cap-less fuel filler broke off. I was able to pull it out. I bought a red PVC/rubber cap that fits over the neck perfectly. 2 1/4” if I recall. Works fine, looks kinda cool. 5. I’ve cracked the front spoiler TWICE! I bought a Curb Alert and followed the directions religiously. Was intermittent at best. I pulled it off when it failed to alert on the sensor itself being cracked on a parking bumper. (Shout-out to Wildhammer Motorsports for keeping the pre-painted MBM OEM ground effects components in stock. Awesome customer service as well.) I drive the car pretty aggressively, and it has been on at least three 500-plus mile trips in 95-100 degree heat the entire time. (SF to LA and back twice.) No other problems. NO A8 shudder (knocking on my skull as I type), or major mechanical issues at all. Just those little convenience issues listed. I do drive around town/surface street in the A8’s manual-shift mode, because with the NPP valves open on the Borla S-type it just sounds amazing. Like an exotic. Is it as “reliable” as my ‘06 Tacoma? Probably not. But I am very, very happy with the car, and still love seeing it every morning.

17 SS 1LE, brand new (somebody backed out of their order). 52k miles, no serious issues. Minor gripes like paint, but the car starts and peforms like the 1st day. Still the best car I've owned

I'm at 75,500 miles on the 2016 and so far the only problem was two of the valve lifter oil control solenoid valves going out on a 500-mile drive to Vegas at around 70,000 miles. Did a transmission fluid flush last week after I started to get some shudder, but I don't know when or if the dealer every changed it when I bought the vehicle so it was due for one anyways. Thankfully (knock on wood), no other issues.
Brakes and rotors seem to be in good shape. I'm installing Z26's this weekend to help with the brake dust. This car is my daily driver and it's driven 50-75 miles each day for work and errands. Regular oil changes, tire rotations and inspections are a must and almost daily I'm looking under the hood and around the car for any issues.

I started with a 2016 A8 1SS. I put 30,000 plus on it over 3 years and had:
1. No rear passenger side speaker. Installed under warranty. 2. Rear end moan turning on cold morning starts. Replaced fluids no real change. 3. Recurrent A8 shudder. Replaced fluids no real change. I purchased my current M6 2018 1SS 1LE, have over 38,000 on it and have had zero issues. |

I had two Gen 6 Camaros so far. The first a 2017 RS- I bought brand new. It had the A8 and the shudder and transmission slippage occurred almost immediately. It was so bad and could not really be fixed at the time I got rid of the car. I don't like automatics anyway- it was my first automatic car- I usually buy manuals. So you could say it had that as a major defect.
I am on to my second Camaro - a 2016 I bought used with only 6K miles on it. Also a V6 but this time with 6 speed manual. It has been awesome- I have logged 10K miles so far. Only one minor defect- the lights for the cruise control button on the left hand side of the steering wheel sometimes randomly go out. They might work for say 2 weeks straight, then just go out for a day or tow, then back on again. I suspect defective cruise buttons assembly on the steering wheel. My car is out of warranty and the issue is not enough to bother me to replace it since the cruise functions just fine. Maybe some day if I don't swap the car for an SS.

Owned since early NOVEMBER 2015 car 20 something.. not any issues except the Axles bolts that fell out and was covered under warranty. It's been SC since early 2016. 70k
If I had a complaint I'd say yellow paint chips to easy.
