Mine's been installed for a couple of months now but I haven't noticed any difference in manual mode ups or downs. I'll play around with it the next time I've got it out though. Since it all attaches above the shift bezel I wouldn't THINK it should affect it other than the "feel" of the movement because of the weight maybe?

That should certainly not be the case. Give us a call at 707-544-4761 and we will gladly help troubleshoot your issue and get you taken care of.

You are correct, your use of the shift handle in manual mode should not be affected. It should still operate as it would from the factory.

If anyone is experiencing any issues at all, or if you just have questions, do not hesitate to give us a call at 707-544-4761. We are always happy to help.

I'm about to pull the trigger and order one of these for my 2017 SS. I would like to hear from those of you that have them currently as to your opinions?
I had a chrome pistol grip on my 2010 SS (not hurst) and liked it a lot. Any input would be greatly welcomed.

bonecrusher5150 - I took mine for an hour of stop and go driving in manual mode yesterday and it performed flawlessly. I couldn't get it to act up at all no matter what I did but hopefully someone else here will help you get it sorted out.

Haole - I loved mine from the start and just swapped to the rosewood grips...now I'm really really loving it. The feel of the diamond patterned wood is completely different from the smoother machined aluminum stock grip plates and I think the blackwood is a third texture so you should be able to find something you'll like.
I've seen a few post from folks that wanted something other that the HURST logo and since the stock plates are solid aluminum I'm wonder if their local engraving shop could modify them by taking a .005" off the surface and adding something custom.

Thank you Bigtexhand, I loved the one on my 2010 and just wanted some input on this one. I am by far not a cheap person. I just couldn't see spending $40 plus shipping here to Hawaii. I'm having it sent to family for free then flat rate to me for right around $15.
I will post after i get it installed.
I'm actually thinking in my mind to just plasti dip the inner portion where the label is white. if it doesn't turn out good I can always peel it right off. I place the order this morning.

Now just wait time to get it

All I figured it out. Yes it does work. Just have to apply more pressure than before. Kinda sticks but it works

Does anyone have or know of an installation video for this? I can only find videos for the manual transmission. I have downloaded the pdf from hurst website but I would also like to see a video if possible.

Haole, I used a combination of the instructions they sent and Lethal's clip:
and it was pretty straightforward. Removing the shift bezel worried me but it's more durable that you might think.
