When I was first looking at doing this, I kept looking to modify something after the relay too. Eventually I got to the point where the new relay I was adding was wired the same as the factory one, and after I slapped myself silly, I just added the switch. It's an easy thing to miss.

Thanks to h018871 for the write up and to Inferno 1LE for simplifying it. I just finished doing this mod and honestly the hardest part was figuring out where I wanted the toggle switch and getting the wires there. This is a great addition since I just added a stage two cam, long tube header and high flow cats. I was running the pulled fuse setup, but that was a bit much for my neighborhood now. Also, the potential of waking up my 2 year old bothered my wife a bit. She actually loves the sound, just didn't want her waking up because of it lol.

Thanks guys

I'd love to see someone come out with this setup in a kit. Similar to the Mild to Wild DIY

Sweet & simple solution. Kinda embarrassed that I didn't think of it
Will position 3 above leave the exhaust closed at start-up as well then?

I was thinking about buying the ADM controller, but this is better than any aftermarket solution I've seen yet.

not sure if you are joking or serious.........

no if serious

BUT: if you wanted a variable close on the flap
hmmmmmmm, would have to be a vacuum regulator instead of on/off
interesting idea

Anyone want to put together a kit for resale? I foresee some money to be made off this mod?

+1, that was the purpose of the install for me. Plus it is just all around awesome to have such control in my console.
