Success! Oh yeah! This is how a new car should turn over. I will get the HPT data soon.

CONGRATS! Sounds much better. I can wait to see the HPT results. I will be interesting. Happy things are looking up. No more getting stuck at the gas station.

Thanks Turbo. For anyone else interested in this starter there were a couple modifications necessary. The ignition connector on the stock starter has a harness and the Powermaster just wants an O-ring terminal so I had to cut the harness clip off the wire and solder an O ring connector on that cable. The next modification was that the positive cable at the end has a 90 degree Bend and a ton of extra metal that I feared it would touch the exhaust or something so I flattened it and took a steel grinder and ground most of the excess metal off.

But no shims were required at all.

I picked one of these up per your experience, this information will be helpful.

Best wishes was definitely more difficult than expected but the end result was better than expected.

@Turbo I tried to hook up the HPT and get the info for you but just no clue how to capture anything. I may not even have the right software.... this is the VC Edit Beta or something from HPT. All I could figure out was read from the car or flash....

Sorry bro just saw this. It is the normal HP Tuners. How is the starter doing? Anymore issues? Concerns? Suggestions?
