No disrespect to the OP intended, but I believe threads made with misleading, erroneous, and officially debunked misstatements should be moved or tagged with a moderator label like" INCORRECT: "

I just don't want people reading the thread titles and thinking they're facts.

I am not sure what you really got, BUT I would definitely sit down with your dealer and find out exactly what is it that you did buy. Like ALL the others have said before me, if it is a 2011 ZL1 then it is an SLP model Camaro. Of which they have said several times, they are only making 69 of them to commemorate the original 69 - Camaro ZL1's built in 1969. If it is a new 2012 GM/Chevy built Camaro ZL1, orders will start being taken by dealers this Saturday morning Oct. 29th. Good Luck.

Yes, as the chevy dealerships Do carry the SLP ZL1's
Better ask a LOT of questions for sure.

Ok I think we know nobody in this thread had a ZL1 here. They haven't even started building them yet lol. Now you can put an order in at most dealers but they won't actually submit them until around January. They aren't gonna start delivering these until spring.

He might be uninformed about the difference between GM's ZL1 and SLP's ZL1. SLP said they were only building 69 in homage to the original ZL1. chalk this up to an uneducated dealer.
