Switching Run Group?

I really want a coach to ride with me. It appears when I signed up on the "Hooked On Driving" website, it only gave me three options. I chose the B Class (Intermediate). Does anyone know if I may request a coach or switch to the lower class? I just don't feel comfortable going alone just yet.

You'll have a better chance of getting a coach in the class you are in. They will be all used up in the lower classes. Just let them know when you get out there.

Can someone fill me in on what octane rated gasoline is available at the track? I likely will not be able to make more than 3 sessions before I need to tank up, again. May be even less as I don't like to go below a quarter tank during any track session.

According to this:
http://motorsportspark.org/wp-conten...ocedures-2.pdf

they have:
87, 93, 100, 110 leaded, and diesel.

What Mike said is correct. You should be comfortable - so let us know you'd like to be bumped down to novice to start when you get there. We'll adapt. We'll be doing lead/follow for the first couple of sessions, because we have such a large percentage of novice drivers vs. instructors.

gas stations are very close by if you do not need 100 octane.

I believe I read a while back that shorts are now OK due to the hot weather. Correct?
