Got my "new to me" 2019 2SS 1LE...
So I drove a total of 1500 miles this weekend to trade in and pickup my "new to me" 2019 Camaro. It had 8900 miles when I got it. Learning all sorts of neat things about the 1LE. I do have a few questions maybe you guys can answer.... It appears as though someone removed the PDR...not happy!!!! (I have OCD when something is on a build sheet and it's not there!!)
1. Can I buy a replacement if someone did remove it? 2. Once removed, should it still appear on the infotainment screen?? If so, and it's not, would someone have had to have access to an GM Tech2 to remove it from the apps screen? 3. The above being said, how to I check to make sure the shocks are the right shocks?? I'm very concerned now! |

Congratulations and yes you will learn a lot about your 1LE. I have never heard or read anything about PDR being removed from a car here on this forum or anywhere else. The shocks may have been replaced but with less than 10,000 miles on yours I doubt it unless they were leaking or worn out. Some of the other members will chime in on your post. Good luck and enjoy your 2SS 1LE.

Congrats on completing the purchase and getting it home.
Contact GM to get the build sheet for your car if you don't already have it (and/or window sticker). Look carefully through what was originally built into the car and then go back to the online listing or any paperwork from the dealer where you purchased it. If they advertised it as having it, and you find that it's missing, get it documented right away and go back to them to make it right. |

Drive car, tally through the drive modes...Tour/Sport/Track, you'll feel that MRC in action. I can't imagine some one could swap those out for something else and not hose the electronics systems there. How did you come up with that question? Is something wrong there?

Your lack of PDR access may be caused by the former owner/dealer removing the sd card responsible for the recordings. See if you can track down where the SD card slot is in your car. If it’s empty, that’s most likely your issue.

Sd card slot is near your left knee in the car.

PDR is a must IMHO. Hoping you have the slot for the SD card. Congrats on the new ride!

My last three camaros had the PDR, never used it. But then again I dont track my cars. I would be very surprised if anyone actually removed that option. Seems as if it would be pretty invasive to do so. I wouldnt think it would be plug and play on the receiving end either.

Crazy! I thought someone actually removed the PDR. It should show up in your settings as well. Glad you figured it out.

Congratulations on a sweet ride! You’re gonna love it. I owned an SS 1LE before I traded up into my ZLE. I loved the SS 1LE and miss that car all the time. It was extremely fun to drive. Enjoy her!
