True.

It is a useful tool, however, that allows you to easily log without any peripheral devices. If you don’t have HPT & you have an issue it is useful for bringing in some information to the dealer if anything does arise.

That’s why I want it on my work trucks.

I don't have a need to datalog right now and don't want to waste money buying the more capable iDash if I don't need it. Oh, I have an SS, not a ZL1. Thanks.

You don't need the data monster, but honestly i think the price isnt much different which is why i just went with both data monsters.

Been trying for a while now to get one of those vent pods. Would you happen to have the contact info for the vendor?

I purchased it from Trochoidal here on the forum.

Could you please provide a little more detail on the vent adapter?

I have a P3 gauge which is a nice product, however, it's limited in the number of parameters it can display. I've considered replacing it with an iDash if I can do a relatively easy swap.

I bought the vent pod from Trochoidal here on the forum. He created a thread about it sometime last year. I just contacted him and he printed one for me.

I too had a P3 gauge and find that the iDash is much better. To install it, you take the vent out, split it apart, install the iDash gauge in the Trochoidal pod, and replace the inner vent piece with the pod.

The process to R&R the vent literally takes minutes.

I believe that I saw the thread. I tried to PM him, but to no avail. I really love the look of the IDash in your vent!! Does it block much of the airflow?

It does block some airflow but that is not bothersome to me. There is still airflow through it.

There was another member that was also printing vent pods. I can't remember his forum name. Maybe that is an option.

Honestly, i think the window dual mount is really nice too. Its barely visible, and i have it right on the inspection sticker so really don't even see it.

I love it. That is awesome..... But, I'm in Thailand and A/C is not just a necessity, it's essential to life itself, LOL
