High flow cats

Hey Guys!

So currently I'm running long tube headers with a 3 inch collector, then fitted with a catless test pipe, then 3in straight piped out to 4 inch tips.

Really would like to throw a emission legal set of high flow cats on it to make it more legal.

That being said, I've never personally used high flow cats. I would like something that's a 3 in od to 3 in id for my fitment that is at least 49 state legal.

So questions I have are

1: What do you guys run?
2: How does it effect performance?
3: Do high flows really quiet the car down like stock cats do?
4: Am I wasting my time and money?

Thanks in advance for all the coming advice!

H/F cats will quiet the car down, but not by much like a factory cat does.
I have stainless works 3 inch H/F cats but I really need to remove them or hollow them out before I melt them. Having a supercharger can cause a cat meltdown. Be careful if you're supercharged.

Forced induction isn't something I plan to do to this car. I'm okay with loosing some of the loudness, just would like to keep some rumble.
