You might consider the ZL1 clutch as well.

I life factory HD stuff, I'd got Zl1 clutch if and when I waste mine. FYI the ARP flywheel studs don't fit through the dual clutch pressure plate, well they do but you can't put a socket on to tighten them. Back to GM for one time use flywheel bolts.

Yes, the ZL1 clutch would be designed to handle ZL1 torque levels (with margin) while the SS is designed to handle SS torque levels (with margin). I think the only difference between SS and ZL1 clutch is the friction disc and pressure plate. The other parts (flywheel, throw out bearing, and everything else) are the same between the SS and ZL1 clutches.

So if you're at torque levels less than the ZL1, that might be an OEM (cheaper?) option. Sounds like some of the aftermarket options can handle even more torque, but is that needed for your application?
