Driving Mode disappeared

Just brought home a new 2SS. I know all about the features and settings for this car, but the "driving mode" in the settings menu has disappeared. I can't change exhaust, steering or suspension settings. When I brought the car home this option was there. Also, I can't select a light strip color. I think the 2 problems are related.

Anyone else notice the driving mode disappearing in the settings menu? How can this be resolved? I tried restoring factory settings, restarting the car. Nothing is working. Thanks.

Is the car running when your trying to access the driving modes. Don't think they are accessible if the cars not running.

There was one time the led light change menu didn't work for me. I was on the way to the store with my son. Went in the store, came back out, started the car and it was working again. That was 3-4 weeks ago. Must have been a glitch.

Yeah car is running in park. I tried it also while it was not running and its same issue. The "driving mode" doesn't show up at all in the settings. But all of the other settings are there. I guess I'll let it sit overnight and see what happens.

That's weird. Maybe letting it sit for a while will reset things? Gotta love technology!

I had this happen to me yesterday. Was looking for it for 10 minutes. I shut the car off for 5 minutes to go google (apparently we aren't the only ones), came back, and there it was!

This is a known issue (at least within this forum) and there have been multiple posts about it. I have an appointment at a Dealer tomorrow, hope to learn more.

I tried everything. Did a full reset. But this morning I started it up and the driving mode settings along with the light settings are back. So it seems like a random problem. Although it would be good to know what the solution is.

There is no solution. It's a software glitch. And the dealer has no idea how to fix it until GM comes along with an update. And for something like this that does not happen very often, I doubt they'll ever do an update. Just turn the car off, and turn it back on.

Had the same issue yesterday. Thought I was crazy. So I shut it off, grabbed the other key fob to see if would do anything. When I started it up, all was fixed. Hope there isn't too many other gremlins like this that pop up.

I've noticed the driving mode can disappear on me when I remote start the car.

yes also posted the same problem just noticed it only does it when i use remote start....
