Gave it a well deserved bath and put the car cover on, traveling most of this week and when I get back we are supposed to have 5-6 rainy days (we need the rain badly in San Diego!). So it isn't going to get driven for at least 10+ days...

That was yesterday. Today I took the car out in the sun for some photos and to rack up more break-in miles.

I missed out on my first-pick color when my Rally Green Metallic order didn't go through in March, but Satin Steel Metallic wasn't a bad backup choice.

So what do you drive in the rain?

Driving in the rain is no fun but even the SS 1LE will manage it if you aren't careless.

Sounds like the regular routine I had when I had my RX-8. And my POS beater Corolla I learned manual on. And my Accord beater car I had.

Oil consumption? Mine doesn't consume any as far as I know. Will see if it drinks any after a few track days.

Sent from toaster or something

Mine is my toy car, so only drive it in nice weather... (1 year old and still looks showroom new) I have a 2012 Hyundai Sonata that is my daily driver...

Bought a ZL1 1LE wing (yeah I'm a poser, whatever) and a rear diffuser. Lead time is up to 12 weeks for the wing but hopefully it'll get here sooner. Would really like it in time for when I take the car out for spring/summer.

Still waiting on wheels/tires, and I'm debating on if I want to do suspension... The mod bug bit me in the ass but I don't want to go overboard and void the bumper to bumper.

I drive mine like Chase Elliot drives his. I've owned it 7 months. It's got 5000+ miles and I drive it everyday unless it's below say 35F.

I'll see if it consumes 0W40 as fast as 5W30.

Just got it and i’m a paint snob and can tell previous owner didn’t use protection (wax, coating not condoms)

So gonna put some Griots Ceramic 3-1 on it for a couple months till i can properly polish and ceramic coat it.

Today snow foamed, tar and sap remover, iron remover. Had a good amount of iron to disolve
