2010 ss a6 trans brake

Hello everyone, just purchased a 2010 ss a6. Looking to change gears, billet caps, posi unit, and install a trans brake. I was just wondering if anyone had an idea what kind of abuse the driveline will take?
Thanks

Nobody makes a transbrake for the 6L80 that I know of. TH400 swap.

Makes a "trans brake" But i would imagine a larger stall and some good foot braking will get you the desired result. I would say there's probably a good reason aftermarket companies have stayed away from a trans brake option.

How much will a stock drive train take?

These diffs are from a Chevy SS - LS3, M6, Whipple blower, long tube headers. One of them is the original diff, the other 2 are Camaro - they're all the same.

Shortly after finally correcting the weak diff my friend who owns the car followed with axle and drive shaft failures.

If you're planning on making more than 500 you may as well go ahead and replace the diff, axles, and drive shaft. They're easier to remove when not mangled.

I probably have 700+ at the crank. SBE, stock transmission, stock rear, stock drive shaft, stock axles. I did add 3.91 gears and triple disc stall converter. No issues so far and it's been down the track over a dozen times.

Same, I have looked a lot. Imo not worth the effort. 4L80 or TH400 swap. You can get these built bulletproof. The 6L80 was never meant to handle the abuse a transbrake or any really serious setup that would benefit from a brake like a big turbo car. I would just swap, and thats what I plan on doing, and call it a day. The whole drivetrain all at once, all or nothing.

Thanks for the replies and input everyone. I guess I should’ve specified what I’m looking to do with the car also. I’m looking for a low 11 1/4 mile and still be plenty streetable. I was wanting to know if it’s doable with stock driveline. Thanks

Currently doing low 11's and I'm still a street car. I can drive around all day and do errands, stop at the track and peel off an 11.40 on the way home

I'll be in the 10's soon.
Stock driveshaft
Stock axles
Stock transmission
Stock differential

I only added 3.91 gears and a triple disc stall converter.

If you wouldn’t mind, do you remember where you got your converter?
