I got you beat. In my 30+ years of buying new and used cars, I've only owned a total of five cars (see my sig) and one motorcycle. I still own two of the five cars. My previous Camaro Z28 I owned for 20 years. I plan on keeping this one until something happens to it or until I can't drive anymore or until I die...whichever comes first.

I told my wife I got two cemetary plots right next to each other. She said, "that's awesome, so we can be burried together." I said, "I got them so I can be burried in my Camaro!" She said "That's mean!". I said, "Don't worry, I will tell the funeral director to just dig the car up and put you in the passenger seat after you go." Now, she's happy again...

I'm 64 and just bought this 2SS. Plan to keep it until I'm 80 at least or whenever the car or I stop moving.
When I was 15 in 1970, geezers then who were driving 440RTs or GTOs or SS454s always impressed me the most. Now that I am or soon going to be a geezer, the SS fits the bill |

I usually keep my cars a while until something bugs me enough. On my 2018, the short headliner fabric is working my nerve, seeing frayed edges on a 1 yr old car. I can see it inside & outside thru the windows. Seems like a goofy mistake at the factory. I'll bring it up the next service visit.

Don't plan on getting rid of mine but if GM announces that Camaro is going away, I'll order a new one before they're gone.

with this, I watched it go down the assy line after I ordered it. put a bunch of money into it already and has only 6K miles on it in the more than 3 years I've had mine. I plan on keeping mine for quite a while..

I plan on keeping my 2016 SS. It is such a good car, and I take care of my vehicles.
The only thing that I would sell it for (maybe!) is if I decide I can afford one of the nicer C7s or C8s, and frankly I don't see that happening.

Without any unforeseen major life expenses that I can't cover under normal methods I'll be keeping my car until I leave it to my boys. I plan on adding a Fifty anniversary edition one day, but never getting rid of my current car. Even then, I'll hang onto the Fifty as well.

It would have to be a really amazing car and I would have to be in a position where I had to choose between the Camaro and the "amazing" car to consider giving it up. Some considerations I've had are Porsche 997 turbo, Audi RS7, and CTS-V but they're much more expensive and I can't justify paying that much extra to give up what has been a five star driving experience in the Camaro. Even then I wouldn't want to give up the Camaro. Hopefully I can give the Camaro to my kids someday, assuming I am fortunate enough to have kids..

Traded my 2015 SS L99 dog for this 2017 SS LT1 rocket. It’s not the most comfortable but it’s not my DD. Have done some paint, wheels and tires so it’s a keeper!
