Blacked Out Deck Lid

Anyone have the blacked out deck lid? Or is that only a 2017 option? Pictures?

Are you asking if the whole deck lid came blacked out or just the section between the tail lights? I ordered my 16 with the black out section between the tail lights.

According to the Chevy website, it's the piece between the taillights. Any pictures?

WT6, that stripe definitely needs black taillights and 3rd brake light blackout... once she is drive-ready again. =)

On the way. I ordered the tail lights today, the 3rd brake light and markers as well.

I did the small one. I LOVE the look. But the -1st one was miscut. I contacted and sent them pics. They sent me a new one. Good company.

Interesting choice to only mount the middle section of the blade spoiler.

The fogging windshield is annoying as hell. I'm not alone on this as you know. I'm very unhappy with how GM handled it. The dealer has tried everything they could. They have been very supportive. I paid a ton down and highly optioned this car. I did look into getting rid of it but would have taken a hell of a hit on it. I've already done laser cut ceramic tint, clear bra, and ordered a few other things as well. I'm in too deep to say the least. Considering the car accelerates excellent, has no mechanical issues with the engine, transmission, or rear end I'm not giving up on it. It brakes amazing on the 6 piston brakes without any fading and handles excellent. It also looks amazing. Best looking car I've owned to date. I chose to stick with the car and try to find a solution to the fogging windshield. I'm working on somewhat of a solution that if it works out I will share it with you.

Maybe GM will step it up eventually and fix the fogging debacle being the Camaro is kind of a big deal outside of the corvette. If it had 1 or 2 other major issues I would be treating it like a lemon. I won't be holding my breath though. My 06 gto had an airbag fault for 5 years before I sold it. The part needed to fix it was on indefinite back order and none of my car industry connections could ever procure it for me. My warranty was useless on that at my dealer as well. I was told to pay up front for an $800.00 part then wait for the unicorn to deliver it after it was born. Every time I started the car I had to hit the mode selector to stop it from beeping or flashing on the dash display. The crazy part is the car had an air conditioner that would freeze meat and it never once fogged up the windshield even in the most humid Florida mornings or afternoons. So to say the least it isn't the first time I've had a bad outcome with a GM product that I'm stuck with.

Back on topic. The blackout trunk decal for what it costs I wouldn't do it again. Main reason being it is vinyl and the price of it. Also, it is matte and doesn't match the SS lower diffuser which is gloss. I'm OCD so if I wanted a car with matte wheels I would want the trim and accents to be the same. Same way if I wanted gloss I would want it all to match. Just a heads up for anyone that is looking at ordering that LPO deck lid black out panel.

Has anyone removed the rear emblem with the black decklid? It looks ok?
