Need a new front passenger fender liner 84922608.
Can't find one available. Everywhere they tell me this part is discontinued, or is backordered with no ETA date by the manufacturer.
If anyone has one laying around that wants to sell it, or knows a place where to get one, I would greatly appreciate to hear from you.

Be careful when you drive higher speeds (Autobahn) the front wheel liners will bend and rub on the tires until you have a big hole in it. Happened to my friend twice, and now also to me. He reinforced the weak area with extra braces now.

Hendricks Chevrolet in Kansas has 1 , I am having Chris hold it til Monday July 3rd , it's it's in my name . U will be responsible for all the shipping,I have no idea that works . There Number is 1 800 728 8267 ask for Chris . Good luck, I told him the story and your in Switzerland , tell him my initials JS .

I just bought one for my car a month or 2 ago to replace mine that was damaged from a thrown semi truck tire retread. I was going to order from https://www.gmpartsstore.com/oem-par...liner-84922608 or similar but shipping was crazy so went to local dealer and gave them some part numbers of items I needed (tire did more damage than just the wheel liner) and they had no problems getting what I needed. Hopefully things haven't changed that much in the past few months! Aftermath video of the damage, lol:

If it's just a hole rubbed in it maybe have a fabric shop.. patch it? I'd think something could be sewn in to fill the hole.. maybe?

All online dealers I tried, cancelled my order, because they couldn't get the part. But thanks for your help.

I'm glad it worked out for you, a Dealership in Washington State, (where I was born and lived til 2 yrs ago I called they couldn't get one , but they showed 4 Dealership that had , and gave me there numbers. A little finger work and Walla .

35 years ago ,I met a guy from Switzerland, his in-laws lived in the Seattle area, I had a 350 Chev SB for sale , I was building a new 350 Drag Race motor, the Car Seen is or was big in your Country . He came an purchased parts all the time he said , and shipped in Ocean containers, I crated the motor and took it to the shipping Company on the Seattle waterfront he was dealing with. Fast forward 3 years , I was at Portland Oregon International Raceway for the annual Portland Automotive Swap Meet . I was taking a break sitting on one of the Road Race turns , this guy was walking up to me , asked what time it was (small world ) it was the guy from Switzerland, we talked for quite some time . I still remember his name Shevn Hoffsett (spelling maybe off ) why I remember his name I don't know.

Good luck on that! I’m thinking they won’t have any replacement parts for us because GM is pushing the EV thing.

Agreed. That “law” and 5 bucks will buy you a cup of coffee. I’ve logged on to look at buying some spare OEM parts (torque converter, for example: https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-pa...Y4LWdhcw%3D%3D) and that part has been unavailable for as long as I can remember. They stopped using the 8L90 just 5 years ago and it’s already a struggle to find some parts….that sure as heck isn’t going to get better in another 5 years.

I comb these forms for every part that I think I might need sooner or later, I have a great online parts store/dealership in Calgary that that has great online prices. i’m starting to look like a hoarder, but guess what sooner or later it will be needed.

I tried, but couldn't ever find this legislation, and in my mind already slotted this info into the urban legend category. Do you know what law this is exactly?
