Great thread!!! I stumbled on this thread as I was researching alignments; will be lowering my car with AFE springs in a couple of weeks.
I did purchase the GM bolts in advance (not even seeing this thread) based on reading the GM Lowering Springs Instructions. The instructions clearly state to replace the TTY bolts. What I don't get is the various Camaro youtube videos and the instructions that came with my springs do not mention a word about replacing the bolts. Better safe than sorry... |

Are the instructions in the first post applicable to both the Zl1 non-1LE, and the ZL1 1LE? Are the part numbers for the hardware the same?
I would assume yes to both, but it has been questioned in this thread. |

The OP applies to all 6th Gens, the same alignment bolts are used between all models (LS, LT, SS, ZL1). |

I just called a local dealer and they didn't have any of the rear bolts in stock.
In fact, their data base indicated only one dealer in all of AZ has the 11611276 bolts (R toe) in stock. A few had the 11547215 (R camber) This tells me one of two things, either: 1) most dealers are not replacing the bolts, or 2) they do replace the bolts and parts supply cannot keep up with demand? Hmmm....

I'm pretty sure no-one is actually replacing these at every alignment... our local dealer didn't stock them when I checked. I bought a set online, and still haven't used them.

Surprised that ARP or (another after market bolt Co) hasn't made reusable replacement bolts for the OEM ones.

What about the Rear OUTER Toe Link Bolts on the other end of the Adjust Link and opposite from the Rear INNER Toe Link Bolts, they are TTY as well, are they loosened and re-tightened when doing an alignment?
If so does anyone have the part number for them? UPDATE: Even though the Camaro Alignment Install pdf says they are a one time use bolt, none of the part manufacturers have any notes on this part saying it is a one time use TTY bolt like the other known one time use TTY bolts.

Also the Front Camber Adjusting Bolt Kit is part number 88914258 in case anyone was wondering
Update: Just learned from my alignment shop that these Camber Bolts are only used during the actual adjustment of camber and are not on the car before or after alignment while using/driving the car. Not sure what the point of it being TTY is?!

Anyone know if something like the BMR adjustable toe rods will fit with our FE4 suspension?
I'd like to get a permanent solution to the rear TTY bolt problem. https://www.bmrsuspension.com/?page=...628&superpro=0 It says 2016+ Camaro. No variants are specified. So maybe it fits them all?
