Tire Fit Questions
Good morning everyone. I have a 2019 SS (Not MRC/1LE) that im putting some Blaque Diamond BD23 rims on.
Front: 20x9 ET 20 Rear 20x10 ET 28 I wanted to put 295/35/20 on the rear, but thought about going to a 305 in the rear. Would I have any issues that anyone knows of? Would going to a 285 or 295/ 30 versus a 35 affect handling? Im going 245 or 255 /40 in the front. Anyone see any issues? I like the tires to look wide and even have a slight stick out if possible but not if I have to install spacers etc... Just want the BD23 rims with safest and best looking tires I could install on these rims. I dont do any kind of track or strip racing , mess around some on the highways. Any brands yall recommend as well? The current tires on the rims are the OEM sizes from the person i previously purchased the rims from. Attached Images |

the rears will poke a little bit with the et28 offset. the front will not and may even be a little more inset.
295 or 305 will work fine on the rear. i dont know about the fronts. |

A 295/35/20 is 28.1" tall. That will be very close on clearance with the fender liners and it will negative affect handling due to raising the roll center and CG height. A 305 will be even taller, and that width isn't really ideal on a 10" rim width either. I would recommend a 285/30 or 295/30. Likewise, in the front I'd go with 245/35 or 255/35 for the same reason.
