Rim and tire size question

I have a 2019 2SS and I’m currently on the 20 inch rims with 11inch on rear and 10inch on the front. Had the engine built, procharger and custom engine/trans tune. I’m wanting to go to a 17inch rim but keep the same total tire height (car is lowered on Viking shocks).

First question: I have heard conflicting information on wether or not the 17’s will fit. Have heard some slight modification is needed on the strut mount.

Second question: what size tires would give me the same or slightly smaller diameter on 17’s?

Thanks in advance.

18" barely clears the 4-piston calipers. I don't see how a 17" would fit and clear the brakes. Have you done any brake upgrades and do you have 4- or 6-piston up front? More engine power available = more stopping power needed.

Agreed! Only slotted and drilled rotors and braided lines. I don’t track it but every once in a while there’s a smart ass hellcat that thinks they have something lol. Traction is my weakness….

Are you looking to put 17’s on the rear or all 4 corners?
