No, just certain things that should have been done the first time around but wasn't done bc it wasn't ready yet or some other reason.

Some examples I can think off of the top of my head,

GTO getting LS1 in 04 then LS2 in 05, 06
SSR being launched with the 5.3 truck motor then next year getting LS2
2010 Mustang refresh, then 2011 the 5.0 and new V-6 come out

I am sure there are others I have missed. I love that they all improved upon those first years, but when its that close its almost like just wait a little longer try and it get right the first time lol. That is me as teh consumer, I know why GM and ford and others do it the way they do.

Look at the 5th gen Camaro when it first came out, The standard equipment and option list grew in the next years and even in the middle of model years.

That's how they get people that buy the first year to buy again before the next complete restyle. Just look how many on here announce they have traded their older Camaro for a newer one. I did because I wanted a convertible that wasn't available in 2010.

Confirmed: BFG All-Terrains are NOT factory tires. 31XXs will ship with Goodyears.

BFGs will be available as an accessory though.

That's fine with me. I wouldn't be doing much off roading anyway.

S-10 crew cab's curb weight is 4039. So not that huge of a weight difference. Its still a big truck though. And that's a shame about the BFG's

Yeah well starting at $20k is fine but I can bet that these will easily touch $30k with a few options and that is just sad, might as well just get a full size.

They're gonna have to be affordable if Silverado sales don't improve. You can get 8K off of one right now. They don't want them to be close in price.

This^ If I can get a full size for damn near what Canyon might cost me, sorry I am gonna spring for the full size(unless these trucks are insanely better with fuel mileage)

Same here. Those regular cab Silverados look awesome and the interiors are much nicer.
