Michigan Camarovan Fest 2014
I may have missed it but did not see a Camarovan thread.
Anyone from this region driving to the Fest? I'm driving down leaving from Fremont MI early Tuesday morning April 30th and arriving sometime Wednesday afternoon May 01. Planing on driving half way and spending the night in a hotel off the route. I was planing on taking I-57 all the way down. I've been told that I-57 is the better route to take.

Nobody from our Detroit 5th Gen Camaro club is going this year. (well as far as I know).
The issue for me is the distance. I looked at the distance from my house to last years event at Indianapolis, and it is a similar distance from the edge of Texas to Houston where the event is located. I would still need to drive from my house to the edge of Texas, way to far for me. Going to pass this year.

Yeah, too far away.
I'd need to take 2 weeks off work.

Sounds like a plan. I was thinking about leaving West Michigan 6 to 7am ish April 30th. Taking 31 to 94 and then taking I-57 all the way down. I've been told that I-57 is the better route to take. Let me know your thoughts.

I-57 doesn't go all the way down, unless you were talking were it turns to I-55. As the Google maps wants to go from I-57 to I-40 to Hwy 59 down to Baytown
