What are popular faster cars than a ZL1?
Living in Austin TX, I see a lot of Mustang GTs (have yet to see a GT500 in the flesh), a Hellcat every now and then, some Porsches. Bunch of BMWs.
But I’m wondering, what are faster cars (that are not extremely rare) from a roll vs a ZL1? I did have some fun with an Aston Martin recently but most people don’t even try vs my ZL1 😝 unsure if they just know the result, are non-competitive people or just had partners/kids with them. Cheers! |

Some GTR will do fine from a dig or slow roll where tire spin matters, but not sure if they have the top end mojo to roll with the Z.

On a roll, there's plenty of cars.
C7 Z06/ZR1 AMG GTS/GTR 5th Gen Viper Challenger Jailbreak (assuming it has traction) 911 Turbo S 911 Carrera S 911 GT3 (close race) 718 Cayman GT4 RS (really close race, I'd think) GT500 BMW M5 BMW G82 M4 Competition (close race) There's an uncomfortable number of Audi's that are a tune or tune/downpipe away from really putting distance on a stock ZL1. Same goes for many BMW's. Mercedes' cars aren't as reactive to those two mods but, they can certainly move out so, don't dismiss them. I think that's pretty relevant considering how easy/cheap those mods are, along with how common they are, too.

Bang for the buck, yeah, absolutely. You could prolly make an argument for a used car that you can get a great deal on like, a C6 Z06. That should be quicker than a ZL1 on a roll.

CT5 V Blackwing. Auto is capable ot 11.2 100% stock. Would be a drivers race. Costs more than ZL1 but also has a comfortable rear seat and much more tech.

I got pulled off a fast corner by a GTR and a Porsche GT3. Nothing I could do but reel them back in on the brakes.
Isn't the GTR 4 wheel drive? That could explain why it hooks up better with less power. Also honorable mention to the Mercedes AMG GT R and AMG GT S. |
