2022 LT1 Build Options

I am going to order a 2022 LT1 with the 6 speed manual, NPP exhaust, Technology package with Bose, the base silver wheels and the low lip matching spoiler. Now the decisions on exterior and interior colors and sunroof. I like black interiors but i am considering the medium ashe to lighten things up or go with the black and get the sunroof? I am leaning 75% Riverside Blue for the exterior or Vivid Orange. I am kind of mad with myself for missing the small window of opportunity to get the Crush orange which I really liked. I also liked the Hyper blue which is similar to my 02 Electron Blue Z06. The Riverside Blue seems to have some purple in it to me which is not necessarily a bad thing. I would be replacing my 1998 SS with the 1LE package which is very rare a 1 of 3 combo for 1998. It is silver with the red cloth interior and 26k miles. Just want to upgrade to get the 455hp with the 6 speed manual before they become extinct. Also I have not seen the Vivid Orange in person yet. I know there are probably tons of threads about sunroof and colors but just wanted to get some Camaro owners updated thoughts.

Obviously its all personal preference as you'll be driving the car.

I just reached out to a few dealers to order a 1SS 1LE in vivid orange, 6spd, PDR, red seat belts. Originally wanted a 2SS but really don't need any of the fancy options that come with it as it won't be a daily driver. Do wish they offered the sunroof on the 1SS 1LE but as that is the only option that I would add.

Almost everything you're asking about is personal preference.

I've wanted a burnt orange Camaro since my old 2000 Z/28 that I had in red, since SOM was virtually impossible to find. VOM will scratch that itch, for me.

I ordered my LT1 in Riverside Blue, 6 speed, and the ash grey interior. I think the lighter seats will make the interior less dark and cave-like. Plus I have a dog that sheds and it shows up on black seats.

In that case I wouldn't let the dog drive the car.

I just picked up a 2022 Lt1 6.2 A10, Tech package, Brembo's up front. Wished I had the NPP on this one like I did my 16 SS. I bought a set of Carbon flash 9.5s on ebay to match the fronts. Wrapped them in 245-40-20s and 285-35-20s on the rear, they are the Nitto 555g2s. Lowered it on Phastek springs, EOL front splitter.

I also picked up another diffuser that will accept dual tips like an NPP. Installing it in a couple weeks. Doubt I'll change the muffler suitcase at this point. Kinda nice to have it quiet. We'll cut off the single tips and add the dual tips. Found some on Summit that will work. Picked up a ported Lt1 intake and TB, will add E85 Dsx when the weather warms up here in Missouri. Love the E85 with these Lt1 motors. One of the best things I did on my C7.

Yup, this a personal preference thread. So take in that spirit.

Sun roof: no no no. Spoils the roof line and GM has a long history of trunks full of water from detached drain hose. Not to mention reduced headroom.

Vivid orange: It's nothing like Crush. It's a Cadillac color: goes great with white shoes.

Interior color: Black rules.

Riverside blue: one of the best colors ever for a Camaro. No, I don't have one. Mine is white.

I agree on the sunroof. If it won't disappear in the headliner I don't want it.

I had the GM Performance 4inch Tips axle back and it would stay plenty quiet when necessary but sounded great when in use. Always a thought to keep that option in mind typically cheaper than the big names. Unless you’re going full exhaust
