I can see a lot of you have purchased an LT1 or 1LT using the employee discounts. Is it true that you can refer/pass on discount to a friend or family after you have the car delivered ?

It has nothing to do with whether you have purchased a car or not. An employee can hand 1 a month.

I had no idea this existed, thought it was only employees and supplier discounts, now i have to quickly find a GM employee to become friends with that hasn't used their 1 a month discount and would be willing to let me use it. if only there was a craigslist "seeking GM employee friendship" section to look through...

This is true for the GM Supplier discount. It's all in the small print.

This is true too. It mostly depends on the vehicle but yes, most won't be able to get GMS or Supplier pricing right now.

Finding a dealer that will accept the discounts is not hard. Finding one that can get an allocation and honor this discount is the hard part.

In December if I recall, doesn’t GM run employee pricing for everyone? And I remember sometime late December or January GM card does top off by applying a additional 1000 dollars.

That is usually done to clear past model year inventory off the lots. Seeing as how the chip shortage has pretty much killed inventory, don’t expect it to happen this year.
