Futura Trailer 16' vs 19'

Hi
Looking for experience and feedback on the Futura Trailer. 16.5 vs 19.5 deck length? The weight and price are pretty close. Would like to use the shorter trailer if possible. I plan to purchase their options - tire rack, spare tire, straps, and loading winch. Do you have any experience with the Futura trailer in 16.5 or 19.5' to carry a gen6 ZL1 1LE V8?

I don't think you're going to be able to get a tire rack on there w/ the car with only 16.5 FT.

Edit* Nevermind, looks like it goes under the wheels might still work, watching videos on it now, looks like a cool trailer.

In my experience, I'd get the 19.5. It is only a little bigger so you won't really feel it while towing, but it will open you up if you ever need more space or to haul a larger vehicle.

So I have an aluminum 14' deck with a 4' dove tail and it fit perfectly. I have enough space in the front for gas cans and I just finished making a tire rack.

Id say get the 19. I had to downsize mine to a 16 because of the limited space in my driveway and parking. that extra 3 feet was an issue. If space wasnt an issue, i would 100% still have the 19

Wow the lights in the trailer deck is a pretty sweet idea. What is the back story on how you got that done? Does it help with loading / unloading at night and such or is it just plain cool.

That has to make loading at night much easier. No more trying to shine a flashlight under the car to make sure your straps are good. Thats a great idea.

Oh it definitely helps at night to load up or unload, that is the reason I installed them. I used a router to make a Grove and popped in outdoor LED strips.
