All I can say is personally I have no experience with Hennessey but by reading the track record of people that hate and love Hennessey. I would definitely stay away from them. I'm in NJ so I decided to go with Jannetty. If I was down south I would go with Vengeance

Being in Florida, I would seriously consider going North to Vengeance Racing. They have a proven record with these cars and have done hundreds from mild to wild. They’ve been working on my ZL1 for over 4 years and have always gotten the most out of whatever combination I’ve asked for (track proven). Even more important, is the customer service. Ron, the owner, is a straight up guy that always does right by his customers. My car is up there now for an issue caused by a well known vendor that has parts on the car. It isn’t VR’s fault, but because I acquired the product from them, Ron is covering all the labor to make it right, which is at a week at this point.

Powertech performance in St Pete. Stay away from that Furcheto motorsports in Orlando. The owner is a complete a$$.

Yea, I started with their custom valve train because I assumed it was inevitable that I would add more power later, and that's what I'm doing now. My instincts tell me to add more cam now, but I probably won't. This is an ET Series racer, not the fastest this or that Gen6. I've done all that in the past.

Just please confirm that they're ready to take your car. Had to book a month in advance for minor bolt-ons, pretty sure longer for anything bigger.

Redline did my ZL1 1LE, she's putting 827 whp on low boost, 900+ on 19 psi. I HPDE my car in south Florida and never gets hot, but I wanted the best of the best in cooling as well.
Beforewarned, Howard, the owner is blunt as ****. Don't get butt hurt if he tells you something is stupid. I am like that as well as a business owner so we got along. |

i checked out Redline before i did my build. They were appx 5k higher than others i looked into. Besides price, they kept trying to push me towards Meth inj. I am not saying they don't do good work, but is it 5k better? I know they have a new supervisor compared to when i called them. I wound up using a local Tampa shop. I am currently in the retuning phase with Kyle from Goat Rope Garage.

I just signed up for headers, lower pulley tune and ect. with Powertech Performance in St Pete. They are awesome and Joe tells you like it is. They build cars the right way.
