I bet it's all in the 60-foot (and thus likely tires/track prep).

Ok, that could be. I'm going off of all the RS3s at my stage who are running 10.8s at @128ish. So having the extra MPH of the zl1 with the slower et seemed off. But then again the zl1 weighs 600lbs more and doesnt have awd. Who knows

None of the Blackwings are AWD. You can get an AWD CT5-V, but that's only a TT 6-cyl.

For what it is worth, the current carbon fiber packages are all on restraint. Orders are not being accepted for the 5 if you choose any of the CF packages.

You know that the BW's PS4S is a hybrid and is somewhere between the regular PS4S and the Sport Cup 2.

Yup...shoulders are Cup2-kinda, inner is standard PS4S. Pretty good video about it here: https://youtu.be/COA630Juf_U

Very hard to launch on pilot super sport radials. These are street compound tires hence the slow 60’. Basically bog it to get clutch out then feed throttle. Extremely hard not to spin.
Sticky tires would be a huge gain. Mickey |

Now that the CT5-V Blackwing has been out a bit longer, I think it's safe to say they did make some notable improvement that makes on average, about 50 more rwhp than the ZL1 on the dyno. Not only that, but the power level doesn't plateau either, it keeps climbing all the way to redline, and the torque curve seems flatter to. They seem to range from 58X to 62X on the dyno in stock form.
Does anybody know what the differences are, besides the Global B architecture? Here are some links to some dyno runs https://www.cadillacvnet.com/forums/...ast-week.2564/ https://www.cadillacvnet.com/forums/...n-thread.2527/ https://www.cadillacvnet.com/forums/...1-octane.2082/ https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showt...php?p=11155260 And this car made what a ported blower, long tubes, 103 NW throttle body, big gulp and tune ZL1 makes, with only a ported blower on the stock tune. The baseline run is on there as well |

Motor Trend got 127.5 mph trap speeds and motorweek got 128 mph. A few owners hit 128 mph as well. According to the list on here, most ZL1s trap around 123-125, with some exceptions hitting upper 120s.
