E85 kits do they all really differ?

I am looking to add a kit and I was sold on DSX. With that said I see that companies like Wildhammer whom has a great reputation and others have the same kit for much cheaper. I wouldn't mind saving a few bucks but not at the expense of quality. I would love those with E85 kits, to hear your experience and if you did the install on your own.

I bought mine from gen5diy, all gm parts, easy install. I don't feel like this is something you need to spend a lot of money on.

DSX is what I bought because of the PTFE line. The Wildhammer kit is the GEN5DIY/Lethal kit.

I did do the install myself. Placing the signal wire in the ECM plug was the most tedious portion of the install. Oh yeah, and maybe squeezing my hand in the confined area to disconnect and connect the ECM plug.

Difficulty was a 4 out of 10 if you’re mechanically inclined.

IMO all of the kits have a good reputation. Hope this helps.

there is no difference that matters. they all use the same GM sensor. its just do you want a aftermarket line or not. id personally get Lethals kit because he has done so much for the 6th gen community. https://www.lethalgarage.com/collect...flex-fuel-kits

I should have bought a ZL1

I am running a 160.00 SMG kit for over 3yrs now with no issues. I believe they went up in price but yea they all seem to be pretty good. I would probably support lethal and buy his if I was in the market.

I am sold fellas. Lethal Garage it is. I watch his videos on You Tube from time to time for little hints and tricks. Silly stuff like "How to remove a door panel" seems easy enough but if you don't catch the 10mm bolt hidden it can cause heartache. Thanks for all the feedback. I am not sure E85 is even in my future but if it is its nice to know I am prepared. My stock fuel system is the weak link. Maybe if I get a stimulus check I will put it towards that. HAHAHA I wish

Welp with a Maggie installed looks like my install might differ a bit. I did not dig around back there as everything is zip tied and perfect but when the time comes I will figure it out.

I just installed the WildHammer version and I like it! It is a great kit and does what it supposed to do..the aftermarket companies may clean up the engine bay a bit but as long as I can run e85 I’m happy
