No problem. I'm glad to do it. I recently asked for a tire recommendation on this forum and the feedback I got from folks was really good. Hopefully some of the LT4 swap knowledge I have to share will be helpful to someone.

One hell of an undertaking, great job and thanks for the pics. I bet you are closer to 650 when you pull it.

We have very similar build ideas, but I stayed with the LT1 and added the blower. We got the engine back in today...

Did it have to come out? What exhaust are you both using?

My car came with the dual mode so I just kept that with the stock exhaust manifolds. Here's what they look like without the heat shield.

That is awesome! If there's anything I can help with let me know. I have lots of GM part #'s for all the parts you might want to attach everything.

I hope you bought some good tires to go with that supercharger. You're going to need them.

Don't make the mistake I did and buy the Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar G2s. I found them to be worthless on the street.

BTW.

I posted my LT1, the Scissor Lift, and a new E92 ECM in the classifieds.

I also posted a pair of rear brake calipers:

2" headers, deleted Cats, and stock dual mode exhaust.

Sounds fun. I love these cars, but I'm not an expert mechanic or anything. I just took my time and researched every step along the way. Patience is the key.

That is going to be one mean sounding machine! Mine is so much louder with the new engine and it still has the cats and factory manifolds. People who have heard my car do not believe the exhaust system is completely stock. I can only imagine what yours will be like.
