If your willing to wait for a year or 2 then ya 110k would get ya a 1lz base. I needed the front lift for 2295 because my driveway so that jumped me to a 2lz now about 116 is plus the front lift. But yes you can get into one for 116k all the way to 190k if you added the z07 pkg, and all the black carbon flash parts to exposed carbon fiber, the carbon fiber engine covers, the carbon fiber roof, and level 1 & level 2 interior carbon and all the little 295 to 495 tide bits.

Not to bad, I was lucky sorta of.

I sold the zl1 for a C8 silverflare at msrp, on the way home from the dealership I told the wife you want to sell your ss and get a C8? She was like "never I love my M6 and it's kinda famous for being on All Girls Garage and Borlas R&D car." I said ok. I said you want to take it to work and do the break in miles for me she said sure ok, when she got to work she said GD you I want one now! I said sell your car then.. so we did I gave her the silverflare and I ordered a base 1lt c8 w z51 so I could do the maggi or procharger. About 2 weeks after placing my order the Bastrop dealer called me and said I know you wanted a z06 when you bought the c8 do you know anyone who wants a z06? "I said hell I do!" He said build one and send me the link, only problem was the z07 pkg was on constraint. So I built it how I wanted and the dealer said it wil be here in 8 to 12 weeks for delivery. Meanwhile Autonation gulf freeway in Houston say guess what your birthday is tomorrow and your car is here! So we headed down to the dealership to give him the bad news. They sold it like 2 days later so no biggie. 2 weeks later the z06 arrived I ended up paying 18k over and I got full trade for the c8 silverflare with 4k miles on it. In fact, I refinanced just before the original loan was due then the next payment is due June 30th in 3 days. We traded the c8 in I can only afford 1 z06 or 2 c8s so we have to share now lol.

Basically we drove the c8 for 4 mos and paid some interest that's it.

BTW the dealer tried to bend me over with 10.6% I refinanced today at 5.9%

The cost of a zl1 and SS are the similar to 1 z06 payment the SS was close to 600 and the zl1 was close to 900. If I got 1.9 like I did on the camaros they be identical.


In the end in ok with No list, No 10k for holding a spot, and building how I wanted with a 8 week wait and only being 18k over.

I struggle seeing $100k plus SUV prices. However the MSRP and even the $18k ADM still seems like a decent price for what GM did with the Vette. GT500 and ZO6 are really only fun autos I have an itch for.

No these are pilot cup 2 345s 21. I only have 700 miles I can't do any launches til 1500 miles it's limited to 3k rpm with no load on the car but I'm able to shift now at 8500 after 500.

0 to 60 should be 2.6 some posted a z06 with skinnies and drags in the 9s. Otherwise it's 10s.

I also get 5000 cash value in GM rewards for service or parts if I keep longer than 6 mos. I got 282 dollars for the purchasing the z06. That should come in handy!

I had a shot at a C8 Z06 for msrp but passed it up. I really want the e-ray.
The 6.2 motor has some years on it to get the bugs out and the front electric motors make it a DD all year round if need be.

I know in Tyler Texas they are 15k when they come in. Stick with small dealers that only get 1 to 8 allocation when I was looking for a normal c8 I had missed 3 from 15 to 30.

I bought to drive it. a 7 year 100k complete warranty was
4600 then 3800 then got it right a 3k I paid cash for it. Plus it was GM/Ally warranty
