Does everyone here have a garage???

I have a one car garage and was wondering how many here keep there car outside? I live in South Florida so snow not an issue but the hot sun is. Already ordered my weather teach sun shade. My garage is pretty clean. I have my motorcycle in there, and tool box, and Lawn equipment. Car would fit but it will be very tight. afraid I will scratch the doors getting in and out. Thoughts?

I put mine in a vented garage with a cover over it. The Phoenix sun and heat will wreck the paint and rubber items.

I live in Michigan so garage is a must for the winter - even in the summer since I don't drive it every day and would rather keep it nice and safe inside haha!

I have split level home built in the early '50's with a small one car garage part of the house so it's climate controlled. Only about a foot and a half clearance on each side so not a whole lot of room.
I call it a car glove.

Since it's on what would be like the basement level, in the summer the car is 70°, and in the winter it's about 50°, the heat doesn't make it all the way down there too well.
I've been clearing out some excess junk to make as much room as possible. I have a Quickjack stored under the car so have been able to do a couple tire rotations, several oil changes along with two diff and one trans fluid swap.

Right now I'm adding some lighting Roadkill style with zip ties to existing objects on the walls/ceiling, still have to get two more 4' LED tubes then it's probably done.

Nothing great, but it serves it's purpose.

I'm also in South Florida. Mine sat outside for a little over a year until I bought my new house with a 2 car garage. I also used the car as a daily driver. While it held out well against the heat and rain, I recommend getting some cover for it. My car is also ceramic coated, so the finish took less abuse. I've seen where people down here buy a carport and store cars that way. Walmart has a few that aren't too expensive, just in case the garage doesn't work out.

I have a garage, and thank goodness as it will be 112 Fahrenheit today. Be very careful with those super long doors.

I'm going in reverse.

Currently moving from a home with a garage to an older home with some cool "architectural character" that includes a well covered carport, sadly no garage.

A little nervous about my car not being fully enclosed, but it should be well protected from elements. On the plus side, it should make working on the car a little more bearable as I will have some breeze available to combat the Texas heat!

I have a 3 car, in tandem though, so it can take some planning and moving cars around, yes i get all 3 of my cars in the garage, unlike most of my neighbors, and the one who parks his car in front of my house every freakin day.

anyway, it is over-sized a bit 750 square feet.

I also live in South Florida. The sun will kill the car. Do anything you can to keep it out of the sun when not using it. Forget putting a wax on it, you need a sealant and the will hold up the sun better than the standard carnuba wax.
