Anyone know this 1le?
Hey guys.
While shopping around for a 17 this popped up. https://www.truecar.com/used-cars-fo...vrolet-camaro/ I contacted the dealer and asked if it was a 1le. They said no. I'm going to ask for a picture of the option sticker. It looks the part at least. She was in an accident that deployed the side air bags. Carfax says left side and rear damage. Driver Recaro bottom is looking a little off as well. I'm doing some digging for actual damage. I ran through most of the threads on here of accidents or wrecks. Kinda hoped the original owner was on here. It was from Maryland. I'm thinking of calling a local Chevy dealer with a body shop or body shop with good reviews and contracting them to inspect it. Thanks -Scott |

Because Racecar!

My initial reaction is that it is a 1LE. Brakes, lip spoiler, and various alcantara interior trimmings (steering wheel, seats, and shifter) all point the right direction. Wheels too but those are easy to swap out. HVAC looks like 1SS trim which is the only choice for a '17 1LE.
Front bumper looks like ZL1 style aftermarket(part of the splitter looks to be peeling off). In conclusion: strong likelyhood it is a 1LE. Sure fire way to tell is to see if you can access the PTM menu. Standard SS does not have it. Scroll through normal, sport, ice/snow, and stop at track mode. Press the traction control button twice. A new menu should pop up in the middle of the gauges for wet, dry, sport 1 & 2, and race. |

It's a 1LE for sure, the interior bits give it away. I'd be weary though regarding the damage, price seems very low.

Not just the normal 1LE bits, But it has PDR too. You can see the Bezel for the SD card slot in the lower dash trim panel in one of the pictures.

HUD is also a dead give away on the 1SS.

Depending on how interested you are I would stop contacting that dealership specifically regarding the 1LE package (since it is a 1LE). However, I would continue to pursue the previous damage.
The front bumper looks absolutely horrible. The tires look stretched? I'm guessing they forced 275's over the factory width rims. If the vehicle did suffer significant damage were the wheels replaced? Did they use OEM forged wheels or aftermarket repro's? Does it have a mixed set of wheels now (half forged OEM half cast aftermarket)? The paint looks terrible from the pictures. Travel with caution! At a minimum you're looking at having to repair or replace the front splitter, tires if they are indeed the incorrect size, and a significant paint correction. Oh, and you'll have to remove the half gallon of Armor-All they've covered the interior with.

Looks like a 1LE that sustained front end damage considering the hood wrap is missing and front bumper is not original. I'd avoid it.

Can confirm it's a 1LE looking at the vehicle build sheet.
I'd be a bit careful with this one with the accident damage, probably want to get it inspected and looked at thoroughly. Also, some of the work done in the "maintenance inspection" on 6/8/2017 and 8/5/2018 were: 6/8 Cause Code: 4061-Interface (Gasket, Seal, Hose, Weld..) - Leaks Labour Op 4062410-Valve Lifter Replacement - Left Side 8/5 Cause Code: 3051-Rotating Part - Worn/Stripped Labour Op 3040270-Rear Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Right Side |

That poor car, it has that goofy, Angry Birds edition, ZL1 "style" bumper from American Authority. Definitely a real 1LE, just not one I would recommend buying. Something looks off about the wheels and it isn't just the tires either, they might be repros.
