LSX F1A guess
My build is getting it's final tune this week. New LSX B15 crate engine, F1A procharger, race inter-cooler, E85, Fore dual pumps, AUS 1300's, FAST intake, long tubes (no cats), Dewitt radiator and all the supporting goodies.
Going to be pulleyed for 15lbs of boost. Shop is doing a dyno day on Saturday 10/28. I'm not going to see final numbers until then. Any guesses on what the numbers will be? Big THANKS to Vector Motorsports in Brighton MI for all the work. I'll post final engine bay pics on Sunday. They did some custom fab work to make it look as good as it performs.

Depends on how that F1A is pullied. It should put down some killer numbers on E85 without a doubt. I'll say 945/849

21 pounds should get about 1100. You can do the math from there.

Oh man that is going to be a beast. Let me know how much boost you are going to run ? Are you going to do the 15lbs of boost the LSX recommends ? What other mods are you doing to get this baby faster ? Did you change the diff, axles, driveshaft, or are you adding a meth kit as well ?

Driveline and suspension was done last year. RXT 1200 clutch, G-Force driveshaft and outlaw axles, re-built diff with tru-track/JRE caps/LPW cover 3.91 gears, Pedders bushings, Pegasus sub frame bushings, JPSS 32mm sway bar and Pedders XA coil-overs. Running 17” Racestars with 305 ET street R’s. Not going with meth yet. Last build was a forged ls3 big cam nitrous setup. Going to have to relearn how to drive the car!

Math isn’t fun. Always been more of a SWAG guy.

I am saving my pennies for a 416ci boosted stroker but I am going with a D1x cause I don't want that much power. Meth will help with IAT but if you are running E85 that should help with internal temps.

I was thinking about building a stroker, but then I came across the LSX crate. Saved me time, money and will be more reliable than a stroker IMO. Two more test and tunes at Milan Dragway this year. I’m going for 10.75@130+. I wanted to make sure I have more than enough car to get there. Should be all about the driver now.

My F1-A build hit almost 850 rwhp, maxed out with a 3.85 12-rib on E-85. That's a low compression 427 though. I am getting limited by too small of headers.

How many pounds of boost did you make on that pulley? The LSX is running at 9:1 compression too.

For me I have the stage 2 air to air intercooler. Like I said before all of these things are waiting in the garage until I have the 416 stroker on the 1LE.

You're going to want to take those 3.91s out for a lower gear. That is gonna spin like crazy |
