New to turbos
Just going to throw this out there, hoping to get some opinions/advise.
I have a 2015 1LE and plan to put a twin turbo kit on it very soon. Never ran anything non NA, but have spent some time reading and have a good idea on what I may need. I have an interest in the not yet released Huron Speed Twin kit. I'm not going to go crazy (at first) planing on 600 rwhp / 600 ft/lb at about 8 psi, make it a lot more fun but reliable for a daily driver. My budget is undecided, but I don't want to cheap out and don't want to go nuts. According to their posts the kit will be mostly bolt on, and includes everything but fueling components. I have the ZL1 fuel pump (1LE), what size injectors should I be looking at? I plan on keeping the stock internals (for now) other than fuel, is there anything else I should focus on engine wise? Keep in mind I'm going for 600/600. I may swap out cylinder head bolts to be safe. Since the car will be in the shop and on the lift, I plan on swapping out the clutch to handle the added power. I know that is not necessary, but I usually like to over build and under use. For now I'm going to keep the NPP 2.5" exhaust and JBA high flow cats. Since it's going to be pretty low boost those should work, right? Any thoughts or input would be helpful, thanks!

+5 AGP
Since you aren't going for the moon on hp, go with some smaller turbos that will spool really quick even on your stock engin. 54/57 in .63 are fast and have made 840whp. |

Okay the AGP kit has my attention.
What injectors should I be looking at for my 600/600 goal that will allow room to add more later? Should I consider spark plugs too? Will the NPP exhaust work well with the AGP kit?

60# would work but might as well get some id850's or equivalent when/if you decide to go more hp

Kevin can answer all that on the phone while ordering. You can do 850 or 1000cc injectors, it all depends on how much room you want to grow. They also have plugs. Depends on power level. For 600rwhp 1 step colder is fine. If you want to make 800+ later then just plan on swapping them out for some colder plugs later.

First, your jba cats wont work, but you will reuse your stock manifolds. Second, I give another vote for AGP. I have their kit sitting in my living room and will install it once it warms up a bit here in Ohio. AGP was there to answer my dumb questions and quick to respond when I had an issue. I am not sure what to think about the Huron twin kit. It looks like it may be nice. But also, I didn't see any other kit for sale in the classified section more than their single turbo kits. Your goal of 600 will most likely go up once you achieve it. Might as well prepare to be bitten by the bug lol. |

Agp all the way. You'll probably have issues only making 600. I made almost 700 @ 8psi on e85. Also, you'll always want more with the ago there's room to grow. I made 830whp @ 15psi with the base turbos. If I wanted more I would just need to go with some bigger ones, and the kit is has proven itself time and time again.
