Trunk Lid Magnetic Black Vinyl Pics

Here are a few pictures I took today of the black magnetic vinyl strip I got off Ebay and installed on my wife's Rally Yellow 2SS RS. Took about 1 minute to install and it looks great IMO. It is the dull finish like the factory stripes, not a gloss finish so it matches good.

Wait...it's a magnet? That's kinda crazy......I like it, you could install different stripes to compliment your outfit!

That looks great! I like the idea of a magnet instead of a decal. That car looks fantastic in your garage.

Just watch under it closely. I have seen several pickups where contractors have put the same type of magnetic signs on their doors, that upon removal to trade to a newer truck, have little bumps in the paint and a haze of rust to go with it. I think water, and other contaminants can wick under, and are held there for a long time before drying out.

Yours may not do this, but just a caution.

How'd you get it so close around the edges of the bow tie? Or did you take the bow tie off and reinstall it?

I like the looks of it but I have to agree with patriotpa (from another thread).
